Afterschool Academy
Afterschool Academy (ASA) provides convenient before- and after-school care for OCCA students at both the Lower and Upper School campuses. Through homework support, hands-on activities, enrichment, and physical activity, the program offers students a safe and engaging place to begin and end their school day.
Enrollment is limited and available exclusively to OCCA students.
Program Options
Choose the schedule that best meets your family’s needs. Part-time enrollment options may also be available; contact Afterschool Academy for current details and pricing.
Morning Care
7:00am-8:30am
$232 per month
Students can begin the day in a supervised environment before school begins. A light breakfast is include.
After-school Care
School dismissal-6:00pm
$536 per month
Students go directly to Afterschool Academy following dismissal. The afternoon includes a snack, homework support, enrichment activities, and time for physical activity.
Morning & Afternoon Care
Both morning & after-school
$670 per month
Families needing both morning and afternoon care may enroll at a discounted combined rate. A sibling discount may also be available during full-paying months.
PD Days
8:00am-3:00pm
$75 advance rate, $80 drop-in rate
On OCCA Professional Development Days, Afterschool Academy offers care to all OCCA students, including those not regularly enrolled in the program.
Upper School Homework Support
3:30pm-5:30pm
$335 per month
Homework support time is available to Upper School students at the Upper School campus.
Enrollment Information
Space in Afterschool Academy is limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee placement. Students may be placed on a waiting list when a program or campus reaches capacity.
Before participating, families must:
- Submit the Afterschool Academy enrollment application
- Complete the required childcare registration forms
- Provide medical, allergy, emergency contact, and authorized pickup information directly to Afterschool Academy
- Review and agree to the policies in the Parent-Student Handbook
Regular program enrollment requires a minimum commitment of eight months or the full school year. Registration fees and deposits are nonrefundable. Families should review the handbook for complete tuition, cancellation, withdrawal, and refund policies.
Enrichment Classes
In addition to its regular before- and after-school care programs, Afterschool Academy offers optional enrichment classes throughout the year. Offerings may include academic, creative, or physical activities. These limited-session classes are open to OCCA students even if they are not enrolled in the regular Afterschool Academy care program. Class schedules, grade levels, registration fees, and availability vary by offering.

Important Program Information
Complete policies are available in the Afterschool Academy Parent-Student Handbook.
- Students must be signed out by an authorized adult.
- Students are not permitted to leave the program or walk home unaccompanied.
- Afternoon care ends promptly at 6:00 p.m.
- Pickups after 6:00 p.m. are subject to a fee of $1 per minute, per child.
- Professional development days and school-break care are not included in regular monthly tuition and may require separate registration and payment.
- Medical and allergy information provided to OCCA may not automatically be shared with Afterschool Academy. Families must provide all necessary information directly to program staff.

Although its services and enrichment classes take place on OCCA campuses, enrollment, staffing, tuition, policies, payments, and program communications are managed directly by Afterschool Academy.
